Store, organize, edit, and reuse workspace files
Files gives each workspace a shared place for documents and assets used by people, workflows, Copilot, and the Assistant.
Organize files
From Workspace → Files, you can:
- Create folders
- Create Markdown files
- Upload files from your device
- Rename files and folders
- Download stored files
- Delete files or entire folders
- Search and browse within the current folder
Binary files can be stored and downloaded. Text, Markdown, and JSON content can also be opened in the built-in editor.
Use files as AI context
Attach a workspace file to Home or Copilot when its contents should inform a request. Files can also be linked as persistent context for the Assistant.
A file attached to one prompt is temporary conversation context. A file linked to the Assistant remains available across Assistant conversations until it is removed.
Security
Files are scoped to the active workspace. Upload and download requests pass through authenticated Innflow routes; do not place credentials or secrets in a file when a workspace secret is more appropriate.
